JURIED UART 2015 ONLINE COLORED PENCIL COMPETITION.
I am so happy since my artwork "The Lotus Pond" won an Honorable Mention in the juried UART 2015 Online Colored Pencil Competition. It was one of my first drawings done on UART Premium Sanded Pastel Paper, and I am so impressed with the results you can achieve. Thanks again UART for this great opportunity!!

JERRY'S ARTARAMA 3rd ANNUAL SELF PORTRAIT CONTEST, 2015.
I am thrilled, my self-portrait "Urban Art" won an Honorable mention in the Jerry's 3rd Annual Self Portrait Contest. It stands among the top 34 best artworks, out of more than 1374 entries. I am so happy, it is such an honor. It was my first attempt doing a selfie, and this recognition gives me new reasons to following my artistic dreams and also encourage me to continue practicing to improve my skills. Thanks to all you for your support!

COLORED PENCIL MAGAZINE November 2014 art challenge.
My drawing "The little golden bow" WON the Beginner category challenge this month.
CPM: "WHY IT WON? This piece just screams for attention! The metallic is so believable and has a unique dimension to it that makes you want to reach out and grab it. We love how each bow reflects the next and the shading in the background adds a lovely softness to the sharp edges of the bows. Wonderful choice of composition as well".
I am thrilled having won the CPM November art challenge, beginner category. Since I discovered this magazine I found there is an amazing group of CP artists out there producing wonderfull work in so many different ways. I shall say that, for sure, my skills improve with each challenge I take.

As part of the Sktchy App Colored Pencil contest (in collaboration with Jerry’s Artarama and the Colored Pencil Magazine) carried out during this August, one of my Sktchy sketches and several of my tips about colored pencil art were featured at the Sktchy Blog.
One of my tips also appeared in the Colored Pencil Student Digest, Autum 2014.
